The Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration offered by the College of Education and Human Services is designed to prepare students for administrative and faculty positions, policy roles, and research areas within colleges and universities and external educational agencies. Using a personalized program of study you will gain the tools you need to develop and measure programs that support student success and retention. You will analyze instructional strategies and management principles that will help you address today’s most pressing issues facing higher education institutions, while learning how to use distance learning technology to effectively manage online programs for students with varied learning styles.

The Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration, offered by the College of Education and Human Services, benefits those seeking a career or advancement in higher education by preparing them for executive, administrative, and academic support positions or a doctoral degree. Graduates hold positions in business administration, academic affairs, and student life. Using a personalized program of study, students will become familiar with the intricacies of higher education institutions and build particular knowledge and skill sets within a core area of interest.
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum GPA of a 3.0.
The Higher Education Administration Program admits students to the Master of Arts program on a rolling basis.
Higher Education Administration M.A. requires 30 credit hours to complete. Cost per credit hour is $655.
