We are excited to know that you are pursuing one of West Virginia University's online graduate programs. Our application resources and guidelines will coach you on understanding the admissions process and how to prepare a successful application.
Application Considerations
Many applicants ask about the GPA required to present a competitive graduate application. Graduate degree-seeking applicants do need to meet the University standard of possessing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale for regular admission. Please note that some graduate programs have minimum GPA requirements that are higher than the University minimum. Please consult with your WVU Admissions Coach to determine the GPA requirements for your program of interest. How to Apply as an Online Graduate Student
