College of Applied Human Sciences Expands Educator and Sports Leadership Offerings

The College of Applied Human Sciences has expanded its online portfolio with two new degree programs and a selection of graduate certificates designed for educators and sports professionals.

The fully online Master of Arts in Leadership Studies in Education equips current educators to lead in their schools and communities. With an emphasis on place-based leadership, the program helps students develop the skills to respond to the unique needs of their local school environments.

The new graduate certificates are designed to stack with the new master's degree, allowing students to earn credentials over time and customize their learning to specific career ambitions. The certificates in principalship, general instructional supervision, and combined school and district leadership are also available as standalone options.

For those interested in athletics, coaching, and sport management, the College of Applied Human Sciences now offers flexible online programs designed to support those who want to lead teams, empower athletes, and make a meaningful impact in the world of sports.

The Bachelor of Arts in Sport Leadership provides a flexible pathway for students pursuing careers in coaching, athletic administration, or sport management. Through coursework in team management, strategy, and communication, students gain the skills to thrive in a variety of athletic environments.

In addition to the new online undergraduate program, the graduate certificates in applied sport science and coaching, athlete empowerment through positive coaching, and athlete talent identification and development offer focused, flexible options for professionals looking to strengthen their expertise in key areas of sport leadership.
