Curriculum
This program's coursework combines esports with core concepts from business, marketing, communications, entertainment, and digital media while helping you develop professional skills in leadership, branding, audience engagement, and project management.
Through applied, project-based learning connected to the University's broader esport ecosystem, you will explore areas such as esports business, livestream and broadcast production, event and tournament operations, social media strategy, digital content creation, and community engagement through applied, project-based learning connected to WVU’s broader esports ecosystem.
You will gain hands-on experience through opportunities tied to varsity esports, livestream productions, tournaments, student organizations, content creation, social media engagement and community outreach. Internship and capstone experiences will help you build professional networks, real-world experience, and a polished resume before graduation.

Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Pathway
