The digital landscape is ever changing, so industry professionals need to be prepared to lead, create, and innovate in the fast-moving world of esports and entertainment.
The School of Sports Science, through the WVU College of Applied Human Sciences, has launched an online bachelor’s program in Esports Business and Entertainment. This program is designed for students who want to turn their passion for video games and events into a career in one of the fastest-growing areas of the entertainment industry. WVU is home to a thriving esports ecosystem, giving students access to the varsity esports team and other student organizations, as well as livestream productions and community engagement initiatives to learn industry-relevant skills in a hands-on environment.
Applications are now open, with the first cohort set to begin in Fall 2026.
