The WVU School of Nursing has been nationally recognized for the quality and success of its Nursing, M.S.N. Program.

The U.S. News & World Report has named WVU’s Master of Science in Nursing among the top 100 online programs in the country for 2026. This ranking specifically recognizes the program's Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track, and is based on several factors, including the commitment to faculty expertise, student engagement, and peer assessment. This program’s successes are exemplified by its curated curriculum and highly flexible format. The structure of the program offers part- and full-time plans of study to fit the needs of busy students as they prepare to certify as FNPs and make a difference in patients' lives.

Congratulations to the faculty and staff at the School of Nursing on this achievement!
