Michael Harman
Michael's area of interest includes analysis of spatial data, 3D visualization, modeling complex landforms and processes, teaching GIS and GISci, and mentoring geoscientists. "I am a teaching faculty member in this amazing department. I don’t have a research focus; as the Director of the online M.S. degree program in Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Analysis, I focus on my student’s outcomes. At present, I preside over a group of nearly 40 graduate students all seeking a better life through higher education. Our program is a new but rapidly growing asynchronous online degree program designed to facilitate equitability in access to advanced training and education across a range of degree seekers." - Michael Harman
