As healthcare grows more complex, the need for strong nurse leaders has never been greater. To help meet this demand, the WVU School of Nursing has launched a new online Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) in Nursing Leadership.

This program prepares nurses to step into leadership roles, such as nursing administration or clinical unit management, expanding their impact beyond direct patient care.

Courses are taught by experienced faculty who bridge theory and real-world practice, equipping students with practical skills they can apply immediately in their day-to-day work.

Applications are open now through July 1, 2026, with classes beginning in Fall 2026.

Learn more by reading the full announcement on the School of Nursing website. We invite you to explore the online Nursing Leadership, M.S.N program page to review the curriculum, eligibility, and admissions process, or to connect with us by requesting information or registering for an upcoming virtual event.
