WVU Expands Graduate Programs with New Statler Online M.S. in Cybersecurity

In today's rapidly evolving digital world, cybersecurity experts are in high demand across industry, government and research sectors, and West Virginia University is meeting that demand with an exciting new fully online graduate program.

The Benjamin J. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources has launched an online Master's in Cybersecurity, designed for professionals and recent graduates with backgrounds in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields. This advanced program blends theory with practice, combining a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles with applied skills in hardware and software security, secure system design, and critical infrastructure protection.

Applications are now open, with the first cohort set to begin in Fall 2026.
