This series of free online faculty development workshops allows participants the option to earn completion badges.
Your access to the content in each workshop should remain available for review for a period of one calendar year. The WVU Online Rubric Series can be completed in any order, and the capstone project at the end is optional for those who wish to complete the series badge.

Take the CourseCreate a Mountaineer Micro Academy Account:
- Step 1: Go to the Mountaineer Micro Academy Portal.
- Step 2: Click the Create Account button to create a WVU Genius Portal account.
- You must use a non-WVU email address.
- You cannot use your usual WVU Login for this non-credit system.
- Note: If you already have a Mountaineer Micro Academy account, log in.
Find and register for a workshop:
- Step 1: Visit the course catalog.
- Step 2: Click the View Offerings button on an available course.
- Step 3: Click Add to Cart .
- Step 4: Click the View Cart button.
- Step 5: To access your course, go to the WVU Online Catalog and sign in using the username (email address) and password you created when registering.
- Note: You can only access these non-credit professional development courses through the Mountaineer Micro Academy Portal.
- Mountaineer Micro Academy is separate from the “main” eCampus System. You must log out, then log back into eCampus at the normal address before your usual course list will be visible.
