Program Overview

Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of music business with our graduate certificate program. From the spark of creation to global consumption, you'll explore every facet of the industry. Understand the evolving music landscape, master essential regulations and business models, and develop the skills to navigate and succeed in this field. With a focus on practical application, this program prepares you to manage and operate effectively within the music business, positioning you for a variety of roles in the industry.

Curriculum

To facilitate a holistic, methodical approach, the Music Business and Industry Graduate Certificate curriculum consist of five 600 level courses, representing a cohesive academic core, covering all the fundamental, interrelated and interdependent segments of the music industry through methodical study of its foundations, commerce, and operations.

  • MUSC 613: Music Performance Organization and Commerce, 3 credit hours

  • MUSC 615: Advanced Music Publishing, 3 credit hours

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
