The online Advanced Master of Arts in Elementary Education degree is for certified teachers who want to advance their knowledge of content, curriculum, classroom management, and the issues facing educators today. The program serves educators in the elementary (early/middle) school setting.

Many educators have full work schedules, significant family commitments or live in remote locations that make travel to traditional course locations difficult and impractical. In response to these needs, the Department of Curriculum and Instruction/Literacy Studies offers the Elementary online master’s degree program in education. Our programs are flexible and allow students to complete coursework at a pace that best suits their needs. We also provide students with personalized advising experiences to address needs on an individualized basis.

This online program is designed for individuals currently holding a teacher certification in elementary education but wish to expand their knowledge of learning, teaching, and the issues facing educators today.
