Interaction Design and Prototyping for XR
Through a project-based curriculum, you will complete the program with a portfolio of five projects demonstrating the foundational skills needed to design immersive technologies in XR.
The Interaction Design and Prototyping for XR Microcredential is offered in partnership with Circuit Stream, an industry leader in Extended Reality (XR) and Game Development education. Learn how to apply design best practices and patterns of design to immersive environments and XR applications.
This beginner-friendly online program will give you a solid foundation in the theory and practice of designing for augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) technologies.
You’ll gain a solid understanding of usability considerations when designing for immersive experiences, and you’ll be able to use industry-standard tools, processes and techniques for designing interfaces and layouts. By the end of the program, you should be able to effectively apply a range of XR development theories, methods, and best practices needed to create intuitive and immersive user interfaces.
