A Little Bit About Me
Program Director, Undergraduate Programs, College of Business and Economics
I am a first-generation West Virginia University graduate and a Morgantown
native, although I have lived out of state for a time. I am a Program Director
in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics. In addition to teaching
BCOR 299 and BCOR 191, I am also a professional academic advisor for John
Chambers students, and specifically for our General Business online major.
When I first came to the Chambers College, my duties included Institutional
Research and peer bench marking, data collection, report generation and dissemination,
and special projects. I am a published author and professional copy editor
and have been part of WVU for more than 30 years.
I am a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and an honorary member
of Beta Gamma Sigma, where I was the College Advisor for nearly 10 years.
My interests and goals are to be here for my students, whether in my class
or for one of my advisees. If you have a question, or need help or direction,
just let me know!
The easiest and best way to reach me outside of class is via email: smaczko@mail.wvu.edu.
