Communication Studies M.A.

Early Childhood Development Undergraduate Certificate

The Early Childhood Development Certificate, offered by the College of Education and Human Services, provides academic training for those who desire to work with children in pre-K classrooms in public schools, Head Start programs, or in childcare centers. The certificate is free standing or can be applied to degree requirements if you wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in this field. You can enroll in the certificate program without prior college coursework, or a degree. The specialized curriculum will prepare you for many careers that make a difference in the lives of young children and their families and help them take their first steps toward a positive, learning-filled life.

Economics M.S.

The newly formed Chamber College M.S. Economics is a 30 credit hour program, delivered fully online, that can be completed in one year. The flexible format allows students to maintain momentum in their career while pursuing their degree. Our M.S. Economics graduates will be high-level quantitative economists with the ability to analyze complex policy issues using modern data analysis and econometric methods. Graduates will not only have the technical skills in demand by national employers, they will be able to apply their learning to a large and diverse set of policy issues within our areas of program expertise, such as public finance, health economics, and regional economics.

Educational Psychology M.A.

If you’re intrigued with the learning process and are seeking a career with future growth opportunity, our Educational Psychology, M.A. program is the perfect fit for you. Learning is a continual process from infancy to old age. Graduates of our program understand the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial changes that occur across the lifespan and their impact on learning. Graduates of our program also develop a strong understanding of research methods and design. Have a particular area of interest? Our program offers you the flexibility to choose additional coursework best suited to your intended career path. Professional preparation will focus on three content areas: learning and instruction; human development; and applied research and data analysis. Students will also be expected to complete core courses, additional electives, and will design and conduct either 1) a project that solves a practical problem in learning or development or 2) a research thesis that investigates a topic of relevance to learning or development.

Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) post-MSN certificate, offered by the School of Nursing, is for professional nurses who are interested in advanced practice level for the delivery of primary health care for patients of all ages. Graduates of this program will meet all requirements to sit for national certification. You will complete a minimum of 600 supervised clinical hours and will gain knowledge and skills basic to the health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation, and revision of care of individuals as members of family units in the primary care setting. With our degree, earning your qualifications is now easier than ever. You can complete the program in three semesters and each student’s plan of study is individualized based on educational and experiential background.
