“Efficient”

Nancy Mullens chose WVU Online because she knew she would get the WVU quality of education with the convenience of the online format.

“I chose to get my Master of Arts degree in Instructional Design and Technology to improve my skills in designing and creating curriculum, while making classroom technology use more efficient.”

“I also wanted to provide a better education to my fifth-grade students.”

Because the program is 100% online, Nancy thought she would feel disconnected from other students and the professors, but she found that was not the case. Instead, the professors went out of their way to keep the students connected.

"Students thinking about taking online classes need to know that time management and organizational skills are vital for success.”

“Prospective students also need to have the courage to speak out, participate, and take control of their own education.”
