TRAVEL STUDY: NEW ORLEANS

New Orleans French Quarter


June 14-17, 2012


Join West Virginia University Extended Learning as we travel to New Orleans, La. We'll explore post Katrina New Orleans and shop at the French market! We'll experience the language, the soul, the music and the food of this unique culture. We'll visit the regenerated beaches and learn about the cleanup efforts and how this area has come together in a vibrant effort of regrowth and spirit! We’ll have a beignet (bin-yea) with some coffee, or try some New Orleans style gumbo or even a muffuletta! We can’t leave the food out of the culture!
