Students must properly withdraw from a course. Simply not attending a class does not constitute a formal withdrawal. See the Office of the University Registrar's rules on dropping a course. You may withdraw from a course through STAR System.
Students may add courses up until the add/drop date listed on the Registrar's web page at: http://registrar.wvu.edu/web_registration/add_and_drop_dates.

Appeals for refund of student charges should be sent to OSA@mail.wvu.edu and copy WVU Online and Extended Campus staff at WVUOnline@mail.wvu.edu. Appeals should be filed with in 14 days of the event. Please follow up if you do not receive a response with in 2 business days at 1-800-253-2762 or WVUOnline@mail.wvu.edu.
